Full House Refurbishment & Double-Storey Extension – Oxford

We carried out a full house refurbishment on this property, transforming it from a tired and outdated layout into a modern, high-quality family home. The project included a complete strip-out and reconfiguration of the ground floor to create a bright, open-plan living space that flows seamlessly from kitchen to dining and living areas.

A full wet underfloor heating system was installed throughout the entire ground floor, including new insulation, screed and floor build-up, providing efficient and consistent heating across the space. All mechanical and electrical works were upgraded, with a new electrical layout, recessed LED lighting and feature lighting carefully designed to enhance both function and atmosphere.

As part of the works, we constructed a double-storey rear extension, adding significant space to the property and integrating it seamlessly with the existing structure. On the first floor, we created a new bathroom, including full plumbing and drainage alterations, modern sanitaryware, tiling, ventilation and lighting.

High-quality finishes were applied throughout the property, including bespoke joinery, feature timber slatted walls, exposed brick detailing, full plastering and decoration, and premium flooring to complete the transformation.

The result is a completely renewed home with improved layout, comfort and energy efficiency, delivered from start to finish by our in-house team. This project is a great example of how we manage complex refurbishments and extensions, combining structural works, underfloor heating and high-end finishes into one cohesive build.
