This project involved the design and construction of a single-storey rear extension to a detached family home on Hayward Road, Oxford.

The homeowners wanted to expand their ground floor living space to create a bright, open-plan living room that connects seamlessly to the garden.

Our scope included:

• Full site setup, excavation, and new foundation installation
• Structural steelwork (RSJs) to form a wide open span at the rear
• Block construction 
• Roof structure with modern insulation 
• New aluminium bi-fold doors and Velux rooflights for maximum natural light
• Internal finishes up to final touch stage 

All works were delivered on schedule and within budget, fully inspected and signed off by Building Control.

This extension has completely transformed the property, creating a spacious, modern living area perfect for family life and entertaining.
